Katie & Co. Occasions is a full service event planning company based in beautiful Vancouver, British Columbia. Specializing in corporate functions, weddings, and special occasions, Katie & Co. creates innovative events that are thoughtfully planned and reflective of the personal style of their clients. We understand that events tell stories - let us help tell yours.
Meet Katie
My career in the event and hospitality industry started in 2008 as Concierge at the prestigious Vancouver Club. Four years later I made the move to Catering Sales and never looked back. A few years later in 2015 I became Director of the department where I oversaw the wedding, corporate and Club event programs. During my time with the VC, I took the lead planning and producing two of the Club’s best known events - the annual Extravaganza and inaugural Fiat Luxe Wedding Show.
Over the last 11 years I have helped plan and execute over 300 weddings and 800 corporate events. My background has given me numerous opportunities to work with some of the world’s most established brands and VIP clientele. Through this experience I’ve been able to collaborate with Vancouver’s event industry professionals, and call many of them close friends.
I take pride in my strong communication and organizational skills, acute attention to detail and professionalism. I am a caring and passionate person with a creative flair and the ability to bring any idea to life. To me, service is paramount - I strive to always be patient, kind and courteous.
It’s important for me to get to know my clients on a personal level, as building a relationship is key in understanding the story that an event is trying to convey. Creating an event isn’t just about planning and logistics - I will work with you to ensure you enjoy the process and are left with a memorable experience.
In my spare time you’ll find me walking my dog, cooking (with glass of wine in hand), gardening, or front row in a spin class. Thanks for visiting, and I can’t wait to work with you to create something special!
